Tolcylen™

When summer rolls around, it’s always fun to put the boots away and pull out the sandals and flip-flops. If you are suffering from unsightly toenails due to a lingering fungal infection or any other nail condition, you might feel self-conscious about showing off your toenails. Even if you’ve tried other topical treatments, Tolcylen™ treatment might be the perfect solution for you.

The Tolcylen™ Difference

Tolcylen™ Antifungal/Nail Renewal Solution is the first product of its kind that combines antifungal, nail renewal, and cosmetic treatment. It’s dispensed exclusively through physicians and features clinically proven cosmetic nail renewal agents and an FDA approved antifungal – in one user-friendly dispensing delivery system.

Unlike other topical fungal treatments, the cosmetic and nail renewal agents in Tolcylen™ can rapidly improve the appearance of your nails, whether your nail condition is caused by onychomycosis (nail fungus) or a non-fungal condition. It is clinically proven to soften, lighten, and thin thick, discolored, brittle nails while acting as a penetrating agent for the other ingredients.

Vitamin E and Jojoba Oil moisturize and revitalize nails, as well as promote increased growth rates and a healthy nail appearance in compromised nails. The patented delivery system is user friendly with an applicator brush tip that effectively controls flow while dispensing medication properly.

Dosage and Treatment

Dosage and length of treatment will depend on the type of condition that is being treated. If your doctor determines Tolcylen™ treatment is right for you, do not wrap, bandage, or cover the treated area unless directed to do so by your doctor, and always wash your hands after applying. In order to get the most benefit from Tolcylen™ treatment, it’s important to apply it at the same time(s) each day.

Continue to use the medication until you use up the full prescribed amount, even if the symptoms disappear before the medication is gone. Stopping the treatment prematurely may allow nail fungus to grow again, resulting in a relapse of the infection.

Side Effects and Precautions

Remember that your doctor has judged that the benefit of using this medication to treat your fungal condition outweighs the risk of side effects. Mild side effects including skin irritation may occur. Make sure to let your doctor or pharmacist know right away if this effect worsens or persists.

Experiencing a very serious allergic reaction to Tolcylen™ is unlikely. However, if you develop a rash, swelling/itching (especially of the tongue/throat/face), severe dizziness, or trouble breathing seek immediate medical attention.

Make sure to tell your doctor if you are allergic to tonaftate, as well as any other allergies you have. The inactive ingredients in this product can cause an allergic reaction or other problems. Before using this, or any medication, make sure to share your medical history with your provider. It is especially important to tell your doctor if you have immune system problems like HIV disease or an organ transplant, or diabetes.
